author> Deirdre M. Donoghue
A central question in contemplating mobility together
with freedom as a native member of the ‘First World Camp’
is strongly connected to my personal mobility and on how much, or little
of it is actually determined by myself. This led me to question my personal
freedom as a person living in a liberal western society such as Holland.
My initial questions of how mobile am I and how much this is related to
my sense of freedom soon turned into new questions such as for whom or
for what do I use my mobility for and who benefits from my mobility?
