Hotel Kristal [hKristal-U
] is situated at the edge of the historical center of Umag, Croatia.
It was built in the late 1960's and proved its public benefit by housing
an art gallery. It was in public (state) property. During emergency
all the main functions of the
hotel served the needs of refugees and internally displaced persons.
After the emergency the hotel was completely renovated, privatized
and upgraded with wellness programs. |

Hotel Pinija [hPinija-P ]
is situated on a small peninsula next to village Petrcane near Zadar,
Croatia. It was built in the late 1960's as a mass tourism resort
with capacity of 300 rooms. It was in public (state) property. During
emergency all the main functions
of the hotel served the needs of refugees and internally displaced
persons; it was also privatized in this period. After the emergency
the hotel was completely renovated and upgraded with wellness programs. |

Hotel Park [hPark-R ] is situated
at Pecine, a rich residential part of Rijeka, Croatia. It was built
at the beginning of 20th century as a bourgeois resort and entertainment
center for the local noblesse. After WW II it was nationalized and
passed over to
public (state) property, functioning as a medium category hotel. During
emergency all the main functions of the hotel served the needs of
refugees and internally displaced persons. After the emergency the
hotel was partly renovated and transformed into
a private kindergarten and primary school. |
